We arrange one league match each month which forms part of the annual Club Championships. We also arrange a summer and winter league each with four matches.
Each year 12 league matches are arranged at a variety of venues that will provide a range of target species and test members angling ability by including marks that range from clean sand to very rough rocky ground. Limits are usually set to allow access to the shore for all abilities so that some can fish within a few metres of the car whilst the adventurous can head off for the more remote areas.
Details for the 2016 championship match venues and summer/winter leagues can be found by clicking the'Shore Matches' button above.
Rule changes voted in at the AGM in 2015 now means that all fish caught during matches which measure more than 15cm are to be recorded and released. Matches will be fished to the measure with the longest bag of fish taking maximum points. Other pools on the day will be longest fish and most fish caught.
